17426 440x377 Angry Birds Rio Review What You Need To Understand

The birds have returned! Following the original and seasons, developer Rovio has released the sequel called Rio. It’s available today within the app store and thаt i checked it.

Angry Birds Rio is a superb game. This is not a big overhaul but it doesn’t have to be. Rovio has delivered precisely what Angry Bird players wеrе hoping to find: more content. It is simply unfortunate thаt they’re offering 1/3 of the game now and the rest over a length of 8 (!) months, some patience is suggested. Still highly recommended.

Conclusion

Also improved are the visuals. The backgrounds seem more dynamic and sharper looking. Paired with the fantastic new animations, Angry Birds Rio is indeed a looker in mobile gaming.

The new storyboard style is fun and adds some depth to the game. Now it actually is sensible to be in a forest and hitting random monkeys. (yeah…)

Presentation

I really hope this beta testing attitude doesn’t become the trend in mobile gaming. Buyers now have to wait until May to access the 3rd world, thаt’s two months from now! And the final level actually won’t be open till November.

Angry Birds Rio currently offers 60 levels in over 2 “scenes”, with 4 more scenes promised over the year. They’re currently unavailable though, whісh annoys us a lot. Basically the developers said: yeah we are really not done yet but you can purchase it now and upgrade later.

And thаt i think the yellow birds are Italian since they are passionate and fast. Anyway the new levels are exciting but additionally not hard. I’m an addict angry bird player and blasted through the levels in 2 hours tops.

As mentioned before the basic gameplay mechanic remains unchanged. Largely the same birds are in your disposal and therefore are introduced to the player once again. I love to give them nicknames, like the red one I call “mr average” simply because they can’t do much.

Gameplay

Angry Birds Rio Review - What You Need To UnderstandBasically the birds wеrе happy and living life when one day these wеrе captured and transported to Rio in Brazil. You must help them escape by completing curtain challenges. The first levels are about helping fellow birds escape by their cages. Once accomplished (30 levels) the game tells you thаt you managed to escaped and therefore are now flying in the forest of Brazil, where you’ll come across evil monkeys (yay!).

Upon booting it becomes clear thаt this is really a brand-new game in the series. The basic mechanic remains the same but everything else has changed. Including new menus, levels and opponents among other things. Angry Birds now also has a tale, but (luckily!) it doesn’t go very deep.
